Money… Money… Money…
I am sure there are many thoughts swishing around in your head as you repeat that word to yourself. You might be thinking, “I wish I had more, “ “I never have enough,” “How am I going to pay that bill?,” “Money is evil,” or many other similar thoughts.
We like to say that love makes the world go around, but at the same time, we all stress about money constantly. How can we not when it is so necessary for our survival? Money cannot replace love, that’s for sure, but it would definitely be nice to have more, wouldn’t it?
While we’d all like to have more money, most of us have an underlying negative association about money that, in effect, keeps us from being able to make more of it. You might feel that money is evil, or you might think it makes people greedy, or any number of negative feelings. When we have these negative associations, we are actually sending out signals into the Universe that say, “I don’t want more money.” You may think that is crazy because, of course, everyone wants more money, right? But it is very possible to want something and at the same time, have an underlying feeling that contradicts that desire, erasing the possibility of it becoming a reality.
There are many powers that exist within our Universe and they govern how we live and receive things on earth. These are called Universal Laws and they are indisputable and unchangeable. An easy example of this is the law of gravity. You know that when you put something down on the table, it will stay there instead of floating around. You can count on that. The same is true for the law of attraction.
The law of attraction is one the most powerful laws in our Universe, and most of us live our lives unaware that it is affecting us at every moment of everyday. The law states that you will attract to yourself what you focus on, whether wanted or unwanted. After learning that definition, can you now see how having underlying negative thoughts about money can keep you from attracting it to you?
Thoughts, feelings, and even money and solid objects are all just forms of energy. The law of attraction works on energy. Energy is sent out into the Universe in the form of thoughts and the Universe then returns to us energy that matches the vibration of the thought we sent out. Since that is true, you can use your thoughts to attract more money to yourself.
Here are some quick tips to help you start attracting more money into your life:
1) Remember the Law of Attraction
Throughout the day, catch yourself when you think about money. Are your thoughts attracting more money into your life or are they attracting more lack of money into your life? For example, do you find yourself thinking, “I don’t have enough money to buy that,” or “There never seems to be enough money.” Those thoughts will only continue to bring you more lack of money.
Catch yourself and start replacing those thoughts with things like, “I’m going to remember I want that because more money is coming my way very soon,” and “I am creating and attracting more money than I ever imagined.” Even if you don’t believe those things, it is important to get the words out into the Universe that will attract to you what you really want.
2) Transform Negative Associations
We’ve dealt with the daily thoughts and fears that surface around the idea of money. Now it is important to work on the misperceptions and associations that might be stuck in your head from society or from your parents. If it has been your experience that most people who have a lot of money are greedy, then that association will keep you from wanting to have a lot of money because you won’t want to turn out like them.
Realize right here and now that you can create your own new associations with money. For example, if you were to make a lot of money, maybe you would still want to live a modest life and donate a lot of money to charities. Create new associations and don’t let the ones that currently reside in your mind hold you back any longer.
3) Start a "Daily Spending Log"
This is an imaginary spending log because you are not going to log the money you actually spend, but instead are going to log what you would like to spend. Start with $100.00 the first day and "spend" it on something that excites you by recording it with the date in your log. The next day, increase it to $200.00, and continue to do that until you get to $1000.00. At that point, increase the amount each day by an additional $1000.00. At the end of 30 days, you should be "spending" $21,000.00. Make sure you "spend" the money each day (don't save it up), and really feel the excitement as you do so. This is a powerful technique because according to the law of attraction, what you focus on is what you get, especially when you add positive feelings to that focus.
4) Focus on Finding Money
Keep track of any extra money that comes your way, whether it be a penny you find on the street or a $100 unexpected check. The more we put our awareness toward "finding" money, the more we use the law of attraction to our advantage because we are now focusing on finding money rather than focusing on the lack of it. Remember to thank the Universe for sending the money to you as you receive it.
Have fun with these exercises and watch as you attract more wealth into your life!

what is personal power, awareness, overcoming fears, fulfilling your purpose, fulfillment, fear, personal power, belief, fulfillment
In this human experience, it is amazing how easily we give up our power without even realizing it. In order to stop giving it away, it is important to understand what personal power really is.
Personal power encompasses your belief in yourself, your willingness to overcome your fears, your ability to live your life from your purpose and to make decisions based on that purpose and on what feels true to your heart. These things are not easy to accomplish, but that is precisely what makes them powerful.
Too often, we settle for a life that doesn't suit our personal needs. We may have all of the luxuries of what society tells us make up a good life - like a nice house and car, a "good" job, etc - but if it doesn't fulfill us, we aren't living from our personal power. On the other hand, when we embrace our power, we are able to stand up and say "Wait a minute! This isn't what I want and I am willing to do what it takes to feel fulfilled."
Take a minute and ask yourself if you are acting from your power. Can you feel that spark inside of you, ignited and passionate? Do you feel an overall sense of fulfillment? Or does it feel like there is something missing? Do you sense an inner plea for something to be different?
Once you have identified what is not working in your life, you will have entered a state of awareness that you may or may not have had before. If that awareness wasn't there for you in the past, you can use it to tap into your power to create a life that allows you to fulfill your life purpose. If that awareness was there before you did this exercise then what else is holding you back? Is it fear? Overwhelm? Do you not believe that what you want is possible for you? Does it feel easier to just chug along as you are?
Begin to visualize what your life could be like if you were fulfilling your purpose. Really get into the feelings of what that would be like for you and allow yourself to get lost in that vision. Then, make a commitment to take small steps toward the destination of that vision. Commit to giving yourself the gift of taking back your personal power by discovering all you can be.
