Choose Love ButtonEvery emotion in life can be broken down into either fear or love. All of the negative emotions fall into the category of fear and all of the positive emotions fall into the category of love. Love and fear are opposite from each other, meaning you cannot experience both at the same time. In every minute, remember that you are a powerful being who is either choosing to love or to fear.

Something that has really helped me in my life is when I remember to ask myself, “What do I want to choose in this moment – Love or fear?” My answer to that question is always love because why in the world would I choose fear. Just by asking that of myself and answering, I am then able to choose a loving reaction to a situation. And let me tell you, when you are able to respond to every situation in your life with love, your life will transform. Every angry or frustrating situation takes on a new perspective of understanding and compassion. Every problem brings a new opportunity and revelation. Every person becomes a friend or a messenger. And then your life takes on the most beautiful expression of joy because by thinking loving thoughts and feeling loving feelings, you become love, and you attract more and more love to you. And when you are being, living and attracting love, life is peaceful and joyful.

Remembering to ask yourself which emotion you choose in moments when you would naturally choose the negative emotions is the biggest hurdle to get over. Find ways to remind yourself because once your ask yourself that question, answering and responding with love is easy. Whether you choose to hang reminder notes around your house and office, or whether you choose to set your alarm on your phone every hour to give you a reminder, or whether you choose a completely different method, find a way to remember. Remember, ask, answer, respond accordingly, and enjoy the peace that comes with making the right decision.
