After graduating from Northwestern University, Pam Gilberd has worked as a Pan Am flight attendant; a third-grade teacher; a commercial model, television and radio host; and a successful businesswoman who manufactured large, patio market umbrellas. She currently writes and speaks about business/career matters for men and women.
Pam is the author of top-selling business/self-help books for women, including The Eleven Commandments of Wildly Successful Women (Macmillan Spectrum 1996, hardcover; 1998 paperback) and its sequel, The Twelfth Commandment of Wildly Successful Women: Discover Your Own Best Answers to the Big Questions About Life, Work, and Love (Chandler House Press, 1999). She co-authored Leadership Secrets of Elizabeth I (Perseus Books, 2000) with Shaun O. Higgins. Pam promoted her books on nationwide book tours.
